Our Mission

The Wax and Skin Lounge believes in giving back to the community that gives so much to our entire WSL Team. Our mission at The Wax and Skin Lounge is to provide services that make you look and feel good, so you can feel comfortable in the skin you’re in! Giving each one of our guests a great experience and most importantly a great service is our number one priority. We also have an annual tradition at The Wax and Skin Lounge that takes place every November, called The Month Of Gratitude.

Month Of Gratitude

With the month of November traditionally being known as a time to “Give Thanks.” The Wax and Skin Lounge likes to give back in a small way by highlighting some great organizations in the Chicagoland community that we think are worthy of support and making a financial contribution towards their cause. We also showcase them in an email to our guests and highlight them on our social media pages. Our only intent with this endeavor is to bring awareness to some organizations that are worthy of recognition because of the positive impact they are making. We believe in supporting and giving back to those making a difference in their respected line of work in the community.

Making a Change Together - 2024

These organizations in the past have been chosen by our staff, estheticians and guests. In 2024, we will be allowing our guests to nominate organizations that they feel are worthy of recognition and The WSL will be making a $5,000 usd donation ($10,000 total) to two Chicagoland organizations. To participate in The Wax and Skin Lounge’s 2024 “Month Of Gratitude” Giveaway, any guest can visit either of our locations for an appointment in November. At checkout they will write down their name and the Chicagoland NonProfit 501(c)(3) organization they feel is making a positive impact in the Chicagoland community and put it into our contest box! At the end of the month a winner will be chosen from each location through a random drawing and the organization they nominated will receive a $5,000 donation in their honor! Each winner will also receive complimentary services for a year! The only requirement is that the organizations are located within the Chicagoland area and are making a positive impact in the community!
